Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [owner's legal name], a sole proprietor in [state], India, trading as The AI Prompt Builder (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What the service does

The AI Prompt Builder writes a starting prompt for the AI platform you choose, following the prompting guidance that platform’s maker publishes. You then paste it into that platform yourself. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Midjourney, xAI, DeepSeek, Meta, Perplexity or any other platform maker; their names identify which platform a prompt is written for.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Guests can use the site without an account, within the limits shown on the site. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.

3. Membership and payments

Guests (no account) get 1 free prompt a week. Prompts written as a guest aren’t saved.
Every new account gets 5 free prompts to use in its first 7 days, saved to its history, including Refine with AI. After that, or once the 5 are used, it gets 1 free prompt a week. Every account’s prompts are saved to its history. No card is needed to sign up.
Membership costs $6.99 (US dollars) a month, and includes 60 prompts per monthly billing cycle, comparing platforms and editing prompts by hand. If a member uses all 60 before the cycle renews, they get 1 free prompt a day until it does.
Each new prompt, each refine and each platform in a comparison counts as 1 prompt. Unused prompts don’t carry over.
To keep free prompts fair, each person may have one free account, and the free prompts are given once per person, including after deleting an account. We check for duplicate or throwaway email addresses and internet phone numbers, and may close accounts made to get extra free prompts.
Membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Membership page; you keep membership until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
Payments in US dollars are processed by Creem, our reseller and merchant of record, which also handles sales tax and VAT. Payments in Indian rupees are processed by Razorpay. The provider’s own terms apply to the payment.
If membership ends, your account goes back to the free allowance: you can still log in, see your saved prompts and get 1 free prompt a week.
We may change the price or the prompts included. We’ll tell members by email at least 30 days before a change affects them, and you can cancel before it does.
Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

4. Content rules

The AI Prompt Builder does not produce, support or help create prompts for:

sexual or sexually explicit content, including erotica, nudity or sexualised descriptions;
any sexual content involving minors, under any circumstances;
violent content, including graphic violence or gore, threats, or content that promotes, glorifies or plans violence, terrorism or abuse;
hate speech or harassment, including content that attacks people for who they are or targets a real person;
content that encourages or instructs self-harm or suicide;
weapons, explosives or dangerous substances, or other illegal activity such as fraud, hacking or drug production.

Ordinary, non-graphic mentions in legitimate work, such as history, news, education, health and safety, or mainstream stories and games, are allowed.

Requests are checked automatically. When a request breaks these rules, no prompt is written, and the request (the text typed, the time, the account or internet address, and the reason) is recorded so we can review it. Declined requests count toward the free daily or weekly prompt but not toward your 5 free or 60 monthly prompts. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, especially repeatedly or deliberately; a suspended account can’t log in. Sexual content involving minors may be reported to the authorities.

5. Fair use and limits

To keep the service working for everyone, each kind of account has a prompt allowance, as shown on the site. Please don’t:

try to get around the content rules, or use the site to create anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
try to get around limits, use automated tools or scripts to send requests, or interfere with the site’s security;
resell or redistribute the service itself.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close a paid account without good reason, we’ll refund the unused part of the current month.

6. Your content and the prompts

You keep any rights you have in what you type. The prompts written for you are yours to use, including commercially. You give us permission to process what you type only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

7. No guarantee of results

Prompts are written by an AI model and can contain mistakes. The results you get from another platform depend on that platform, which we don’t control. Check anything important before you rely on it. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please write to our grievance officer (details under Business details below, or use the message form). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell account holders by email or on the site before it takes effect. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [city], [state] have jurisdiction, without taking away your right to use a consumer commission or court where you live, or any stronger protection your local consumer law gives you.
